The typical boxing training stimulates all muscle groups, and provides the perfect combination of aerobic (with oxygen) and anaerobic (short burst, without oxygen) exercise. The boxing workout improves every type of physical capacity: strength, power, coordination, aerobic fitness, anaerobic fitness and endurance. Exercises that are emphasized during the one hour workout include heavy bag, speed bag, jump rope, medicine balls, and light weights. The class will raise your heart rate to a level where maximum calorie burn can be achieved. The one hour workout will include: 3 rounds of warm up, 8 rounds of bag work, 3 rounds of core work and end with 1 round of cool down. Each round is 3 minutes.
