How often should I attend class to notice results?
If you attend class 3 times per week for 3 months you will notice a significant change in the way you look and feel. In addition, hitting the heavy bag is an excellent stress reliever.
How old do I need to be to attend class?
Age 13 - 100. If under 18, parent needs to sign waiver.
How do I wrap my hands?
You will be taught how to wrap your hands in the introductory class. You can also check out the video titled “How to wrap your hands”.
What time should I plan to arrive?
10 minutes before class. This will give you time to wrap your hands and get ready for Round 1.
What equipment do you provide?
All the equipment a boxer uses to stay in shape (gloves, wraps, heavy bags, jump ropes, medicine balls & weights). Gloves and wraps will be available to purchase at the Club, many members prefer to have their own.
Are there advanced classes and beginner classes?
No, the classes are not run at different levels, however we do require members who are new to boxing to take an introductory coarse to learn the basics. Our standard classes provide each member with their own heavy bag for the boxing rounds, allowing them to work at their own pace. The more you box the better you will become. We will help you uncover your own body’s power- all while helping you burn up to 1000 calories an hour.
Do I need previous boxing experience?
No, the coaches will teach you everything you need to know. If you are new to boxing, we require you to take the introductory class to learn the basics of boxing (the stance and six basic punches, anyone can master the basics of boxing)
