A few members may experience knuckle pain. To an extent, this goes hand in hand with the sport. However, there are things you can do to help. Make sure you have a nice relaxed fist when you are punching. You should not clench too hard. Taking some hand wrap support off of your wrist and putting a little extra on your knuckles may help as well. Of course, ice them down and take a day off. And finally, try not to punch so hard!
When you arrive at the club, just stop at the front desk and make sure there is a little check mark next to your name. If there isn’t, check the little box. That means that you’ve actually arrived and made it for your class!
Just come to a regular 15 Rounds class! We have videos under the How to Gallery that will teach you how to stand, move, and throw the six basic punches. Those will give you a head start. In addition, if you arrive for class early, one of our trainers can briefly review the technique with you before class begins!
Nothing - Just yourself! We have wraps, gloves, and all the motivation you’ll need! Just wear a good pair of tennis shoes.
No, you do not need to sign up in advance. Just show up 10 - 20 minutes early so that we have time to put you in the computer. The introductory class is free for new members and does not require any pre check in.

If you attend class 3 times per week for 3 months you will notice a significant change in the way you look and feel. In addition, hitting the heavy bag is an excellent stress reliever.
Ages 13 - 100. If under 18, parent needs to sign waiver.

10 minutes before class. This will give you time to wrap your hands and get ready for Round 1.
All the equipment a boxer uses to stay in shape (gloves, wraps, heavy bags, jump ropes, medicine balls & weights). Gloves and wraps will be available to purchase at the Club, many members prefer to have their own.
No, the classes are not run at different levels. However we do require members who are new to boxing to take an introductory course to learn the basics. Our standard classes provide each member with their own heavy bag for the boxing rounds, allowing them to work at their own pace. The more you box the better you will become. We will help you uncover your own body’s power — all while helping you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour.
Not at all! The coaches at Fit 4 Boxing Club will teach you everything you need to know. If you are new to boxing, we do require that you to take the introductory class to learn the basics of boxing including the stance and six basic punches. Anyone can master the basics of boxing!
