Fit 4 Boxing FAQs

Below are some answers to common questions. If you would like further information just contact us.

A few members may experience knuckle pain. To an extent, this goes hand in hand with the sport. However, there are things you can do to help. Make sure you have a nice relaxed fist when you are punching. You should not clench too hard. Taking some hand wrap support off of your wrist and putting a little extra on your knuckles may help as well. Of course, ice them down and take a day off. And finally, try not to punch so hard!

When you arrive at the club, just stop at the front desk and make sure there is a little check mark next to your name. If there isn’t, check the little box. That means that you’ve actually arrived and made it for your class!

We have some How To Videos posted under our Gallery pages that provide an introduction for how to stand, move, and throw the six basic punches. These will give you a head start. In addition, if you arrive for class early, one of our trainers can briefly review the technique with you before class begins!

Nothing - Just yourself! We have wraps, gloves, and all the motivation you’ll need! Just wear a good pair of tennis shoes.

At Fit 4 Boxing Club, there is never a need to sign up in advance or pre-register for Fitness Boxing classes. We can accommodate large class sizes, so we don't save spots and we never turn anybody away! Just show up for class and punch in at the front desk when you arrive.

We offer private lessons and training for your specific needs and goals.

If you attend class 3 times per week for 3 months you will notice a significant change in the way you look and feel. In addition, hitting the heavy bag is an excellent stress reliever.

Ages 13 - 100. If under 18, parent needs to sign waiver.

You will be taught how to wrap your hands in the introductory class. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the process.

10 minutes before class. This will give you time to wrap your hands and get ready for Round 1.

All the equipment a boxer uses to stay in shape (gloves, wraps, heavy bags, jump ropes, medicine balls & weights). Gloves and wraps will be available to purchase at the Club, many members prefer to have their own.

Our fitness boxing classes are Fit 4 EveryBODY! There are no varying class levels because our training is geared toward working at your own pace. Our trainers are here to guide you, support you, and help you modify exercises if ever necessary. No two classes are ever the same, and you are always guaranteed a great full body workout!

Not at all! The coaches at Fit 4 Boxing Club will teach you everything you need to know including the stance and six basic punches. Anyone can master the basics of boxing!
